Paris has so much more to experience than simply checking landmarks off a list. These are four experiences I’ve personally done and loved—from seeing the city from the Eiffel Tower to sipping Champagne while cruising the Seine.
The Eiffel Tower Experience — Take in Paris from one of the most iconic landmarks in the world.
The Louvre Museum —
Explore one of the world’s most famous museums and see masterpieces you’ve known your entire life.
Cruising the Seine —
I’ve experienced the Seine two completely different ways: a morning sightseeing cruise and an evening Champagne cruise. Both offer an entirely different view of Paris.
Disneyland Paris —
A little Disney magic outside the city and a must for Disney fans visiting France.
Belize was one of those trips where the adventure never really stopped. From exploring the islands and incredible local food to getting out on—and under—the water, these were some of my favorite experiences.
Spearfishing — Heading out on the water to try spearfishing was an unforgettable Belize experience and definitely one for the adventure list.
Swimming with Nurse Sharks & Stingrays — Visiting the marine reserve and getting into the water with nurse sharks and stingrays was easily one of the highlights of the trip.
Private Hobie Cat Adventure — We rented our own Hobie Cat and spent time sailing the Caribbean on our own—one of my favorite ways to experience the water.
The Split at Caye Caulker — A must while on the island. The perfect place to swim, relax, grab a drink and enjoy Caye Caulker’s laid-back atmosphere.
San Pedro Day Trip — We took a day trip over to San Pedro to explore another side of Belize and experience the restaurants, shops and island atmosphere.
The Belize Food Scene — Fresh seafood, local flavors and plenty of great little spots made eating our way around Belize an experience of its own.
Scuba Diving in Caye Caulker — I earned my scuba certification here under seriously challenging conditions, making finally getting certified one of my proudest travel accomplishments.
