National parks in the USA are a treasure trove of natural beauty, offering breathtaking landscapes and unique experiences for visitors. One such gem is Acadia National Park, nestled in the charming town of Bar Harbor, Maine. This picturesque area is a must-visit destination for nature enthusiasts, adventure seekers and anyone looking to immerse themselves in the splendor of the great outdoors.

A couple of tips & tricks when visiting the park:

  • When planning your trip to Acadia- go here to make your reservation to Cadillac Mountain. If you don't then the only way to access the mountain is by mountain bike or hiking.

  • If you are visiting during busy season, I highly recommended waking up early if you want to hit certain hikes if you don't want to have trouble parking and hiking certain trails with a line of people.

  • Make sure to bring reusable water bottles- fountains are located through out the park to refill near bathrooms. And bug spray/ suntan lotion.

Our favorites at Chart Room, Poke Stake and Clam Chowder were both delicious and the steamed lobster and crab cakes are also highly recommended.

For those seeking a memorable dining experience, the Chart Room in Bar Harbor is a popular choice, offering delectable seafood and stunning waterfront views. The sunset here is beautiful as it reflects off the water.

Another great spot is 2 Cats for breakfast or lunch, this is a great local spot that is known for its amazing food and eccentric atmosphere. The blueberry pancake, corn beef hash and eggs benedict are a few of our favorites here!
